Firestop Systems using FPT Firestop Materials have been tested and approved by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc., (UL® ) and some by  Factory Mutual (FM Global Insurance), and  have been tested and approved  for marine applications according to SOLAS and IMO.

Flammadur  Firestop Materials are manufactured in Germany by  AIK Flammadur Brandschutz GmbH, an ISO 9001 certified company.  FPT products are manufactured in Germany, Canada, and the USA  by different manufacturers.
